Ina's InnerTreat was the most wonderful and transformational retreat that I've ever been on. I have been facilitating and co-facilitating retreats for many years now but this particular retreat was extra special.

I was blessed to be invited as a facilitator with regards to the nutrition/food and Yoga but even more fortunate to be able to be fully immersed in Ina's retreat.

The location in the beautiful, wild African bush, surrounded by endless views across a mass of reflective waters of the Albert Falls dam, the call of the African fish eagle; the mesmerising patterns of the zebra and the sightings of the graceful giraffe added to the timeless experience. The old 'Ugly duckling' accommodation made the experience rather magical...the house has the original feel and style of a home from the 70s/80s...this made tapping into my inner child even more effective. It was like stepping back in time. The powerful group of woman who came together for this retreat seemed so divinely coordinated. We shall forever remain wonderful friends. we crafted, we sang, we danced, we cried, we did Yoga, we meditated, we fell over, we feasted, we laughed, we shared, we released, we learnt and we grew....together. Wow. Just wow. Words cannot describe nor do justice to the feelings and thoughts that stir thinking about Ina’s retreat. It was the healing journey that I never knew I needed, oh so badly. It has shifted me in so many ways. It has reminded me of who I am and what I am meant to do here.

There were so many things…

The animals, my gosh! How safe and at home I felt in the old Ugly Duckling farmhouse; the adventure and the beauty of South Africa itself; the fun, the stillness within and without; and deep friendships and connections formed through much laughter and tears.

Foremost though are the teachings of Ina…

What she has learned through her journey from healing Roki is profound, and in doing so, she has found her true path as a healer and mentor. We are blessed to be able to learn from her.  Ina has a gentle, calming presence and an intuitive sense of knowing how to hold space in circle. This teamed with her tenacity and her can do attitude is the perfect balance to run a retreat.

Ina is part of a magical community on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, who has supported her, and her family through caring for Roki. She now shares her spiritual knowledge and healings here locally too.
